A total of 112 runners cruised down Montcalm Road during the running of the 19th annual the Montcalm Mile.
High school standout, Lee Gabler, from Ticonderoga, won the men's overall in a time of 4:25, and Alyssa Coffey, from Queensbury, won the women's in a time of 5:24. Other overall male finishers were: Lee Berube, Putnam Station, 4:25, Jesse Berube, Putnam Station, 4,26, Mike Winnick, 4:39, and in fifth position, Jim Robinson, Rochester, 4:40. Other female winners are: Samantha Diehl, Port Henry, 6:15, Sarah Fredigan, Castleton, 6:29, Jenna Weilacher, Ticonderoga, 6:31, and Eileen Gowen, 6:44. The race preceded the Bicentennial edition of Ticonderoga's 4th of July parade. Eleven runners ran under a 5:00 minute per mile pace.
